In app Manage G/L Account Master Data, changes to attributes in the source account are copied to the new G/L account.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The "Copy Accounts to Company Code" function in app Manage G/L Account Master Data copies the current state including changes (such as changes on sort key or field status group) of the source account to the new account, instead of the original properties of the source account.

This is standard behavior.
