Symptom

HTTP 500 runtime error occurs when opening the "Post Closing and Opening Balances - Italy" app in "Test Run" mode for closing income statement accounts.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Launch the "Post Closing and Opening Balances - Italy" app in "Test Run" mode for closing income statement accounts.
  2. Observe that the app results in an HTTP 500 runtime error.

Cause

The runtime error occurs due to the high volume of postings generated by the system for each GL account in the Italy-specific version of the app.

Resolution

  1. Use a smaller range of posting periods to limit the amount of postings returned in the "Post Closing and Opening Balances - Italy" app.
  2. Alternatively, the "Schedule Post Closing and Opening Balances" app (App ID F6182) can be used as a workaround.
