Symptom
The WorkForce Suite supports many different languages, as detailed in WorkForce Software Supported Languages. However, the system is written in English first and then translated appropriately. At times, the translations in use may not be perfect and there can be room for improvement. In other cases, a customer may just have a different term or wording that they prefer. This article goes through the process of requesting a change to the translated text in the Suite, or changes to standard text in WT&A Classic screens.
For customizing translations for WT&A Classic screens, see Working with Translations in WorkForce Time and Attendance. Be aware that some values that appear in the Suite still come from the WT&A translations on policies, such as the translated names of pay codes or banks. Requests to change the standard wording on Classic screens can still be submitted through the process in this article but can also be updated immediately using the custom process.
IMPORTANT: This is only for updating the translations for existing languages. To request support for a new language, please file a Product Enhancement Request (PER) as detailed in Submitting a Product Enhancement Request.
