• The affected Scheduling Agreement items contain an unusually high number of schedule lines, and the counter has reached the system limit of 9,999.
• As a result, MRP is unable to generate new delivery proposals for these items, and the corresponding entries appear under Sourcing Issues in the MRP Master Data Issues application.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the "Display MRP Master Data Issues" application and filter by "Sourcing Issue (S)".
2. Enter the impacted materials in the "Manage Purchase Scheduling Agreement" application to locate the scheduling agreement.
3. Navigate to the item in the scheduling agreement and observe that the schedule lines have reached the maximum limit of 9999, with many numbers skipped.

Missing execution of the "renumbering of schedule lines" job.

1. To renumber schedule lines for an item in a purchase scheduling agreement, schedule a background job using the job template "renumbering of schedule lines" in the "Schedule Purchasing Jobs - Advanced" application.
2. Define the threshold between 50% to 100% of the maximum limit (9999 schedule lines).
3. During the creation of schedule lines, if the defined threshold value is reached, the scheduled background job will trigger the renumbering of the schedule lines to allow the creation of new lines.
4. Execute the job ad-hoc for specific purchase scheduling agreements where the issue occurs.
