3681954 - SNC-enabled system fails to start: incorrect SECUDIR despite correctly configured Instance/DEFAULT profile

Symptom

  • The dev_w* trace log indicates that the SNC environment variable points to an incorrect directory.
  • Error messages observed in the dev_w* log include:

"SNCERR_GSSAPI"

"GSS-API(maj): No credentials were supplied"

"FATAL SNCERR -- Accepting Credentials: 'sapsso' (0x0003) not available!"

  • SECUDIR is correctly set in the Instance/DEFAULT profile 
  • Instance has START profile
