The Data Change Event is missing from the Event Selection List in the Job Information Portlet.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central -Job information
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to any employee's Job Information History.
- Create a new record and set an effective date.
- Go to the Event picklist and find that the "Data Change" option is missing.
Resolution
- This is planned to be enhanced in 1H 2026 release but not yet confirmed.
- Please reach out to your CSM/CEE to track the enhancement ECT-263040.
Workaround:
Disable the feature in Configure Latest People Profile > Enable the latest Editing and History UI for Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile (Except Compensation Information)
