3682183 - Background Elements fields greyed out in PPX - Employee Central - 2H2025

When configuring a field with a parent picklist id, the field is greyed out even after selecting a value for the parent field only for Latest People Profile.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Latest People Profile

1. Create a background element;
2. Configure field A and B with A being a parent picklist of B;
3. Go to the portlet in the employee's profile;
4. Select a value for field A;
5. Field B is greyed out. 

The "Parent Picklist ID" field is not configured with the parent field id in the child configuration. 

In Latest People Profile, there are validations which requires the "Parent Picklist ID" must contain the ID of the parent field, not a picklist value.
