3682250 - Error “No batches/stocks were found – (Batch) determination is performed online” occurs during batch determination

When performing batch determination, the following error message is raised:

• No batches/stocks were found - (Batch) determination is performed online
  Message no. LB025

When selecting the "Log..." button, the same error message appears, and no additional details are displayed.

1. Perform batch determination (automatically or manually) for a material.
2. No batches are determined.
3. Error message LB025 is displayed: “No batches/stocks were found – (Batch) determination is performed online”.
4. Opening the "Log..." button shows no additional information.

The error occurs because batch determination was performed online, and the system did not find any batches that meet the defined selection criteria.

When batch determination is performed online, the log does not contain detailed information, which is why the “Log…” button does not show further details.

To analyze why batch determination did not find any batches, a detailed batch determination log is required.

To enable this:

1. Go to the Search Strategy settings.
2. Activate the “Dialog Batch Determination” flag.

Enabling this option forces batch determination to run in the foreground, ensuring that the system generates a detailed batch determination log.

This log allows to review how the system processed the selection criteria and why no batches were selected.
