3682368 - XSA cannot connect to tenant DB during renew-passwords-of-technical-users or update-tenants due to outdated DBINFO port mapping

Symptom

One or more of the following symptoms occur in an SAP HANA XS Advanced environment:

  • Logging into XS Advanced fails with
    USER_INFO_REQUEST_ERROR_MSG
  • The command
    XSA renew-passwords-of-technical-users
    fails with an error while connecting to a tenant database
  • The command
    XSA update-tenants
    fails to update one or more tenant databases
  • Errors contain incorrect or outdated ports, for example:
    FAILED to connect to the database <TENANT> (<hostname>:35113):
    Cannot connect to jdbc:sap://<host>:35113/ [Unknown host <hostname>.grp:35115].
  • The XS Advanced update was previously interrupted
    (XS content version differs from XS core version)
