onView rule with basic rule scenario on Compensation Information is not behaving correctly on Latest People Profile.
The same onView rule is able to correctly retrieve and set values in the Legacy People Profile and in the History view.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central 2H 2025

1. Configure onView rule under Compensation information with basic rule scenario
2. Ensure that Latest People Profile is enabled in Company System and Logo Settings
3. Go to the Compensation section on any users profile
4. Click 'View All' on the Compensation tile
5. See that the field which should be set by the onView rule is still blank

If you click 'History' the field will be populated with the value by the onView rule.

The issue will be fixed via patch PTCH-48526 (2H2025 P6) which is scheduled for 25th Nov 2025 in Preview and 27th Nov 2025 in Production environments.

Workaround:
Creating the business rule with rule scenario set as 'Trigger onView Rules for HRIS Elements' will allow the rule to work correctly on the Latest People Profile.
