3682807 - Error: "Unexpected element -el=ErrorResponse ns=" when sending data via Managed Gateway for Spend and Business Network

Symptom

Ariba Remittance advices IDOCs (ARBCIG_REMADV) or Ariba Orders IDOCs (ARBCIG_ORDERS) are failing with a SOAP class with Error message: "Problem with SOAP class", and System Response: "14:Unexpected element -el=ErrorResponse ns=".

SM59 Connectivity Test returns Status HTTP Response 404 Status Text NotFound.
