3682821 - Validation error due to fact data not having the matching dimensions members in a dimension table in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Validation warning occurs after QRC 4 2025 update.
• Error message displayed: "Fact Data Mismatch: <dimension name> mismatched fact table member(s) detected."

SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.21.5

1. Open the modeler screen for the affected model.
2. Observe the validation error message "Fact Data Mismatch: <dimension_name> mismatched fact table member(s) detected."
3. Similar validation errors are observed for multiple other dimensions.

• The behavior is by design.
• As of QRC4 / 2025.21 - A new validation rule to Correct Fact Data Mismatches was introduced.

• To fix a data mismatch:
  • You can either delete the facts whose members are missing,
    Or,
  • Add the missing members to the dimension table.
