Post-1H 2026 Production release, requests for instance refreshes from Preview (source) to Production (target) are getting the status "Validation Failed" with the below errors:
- Unable to process the refresh request due to a planned system upgrade. Please contact Technical Support to manually refresh your target instance
- TENANTREFRESH_REQUEST_CONTAINS_INVALID_DATA
- TENANTREFRESH_SRC_TGT_DB_VERSION_MISMATCH
- TENANTREFRESH_REQUEST_CONTAINS_INVALID_DATA
- TENANTREFRESH_SRC_TGT_DB_VERSION_MISMATCH

Cause
This is caused by a version mismatch that currently exists post-release.
Resolution
This issue is planned to be resolved on May 23rd. Please monitor the KBA for updates.
