Symptom

The data's sort order is incorrectly reset when a user interacts with menu options like "Show Selection Pane" or "Show Detail Pane." This behavior is specific to personal views, occurring only when the set_table_for_first_display method is called with the ms_variant parameter set to 'P'. In contrast, the sort order is maintained correctly when an All Users View ('A') is used.
