3682974 - Inbound IDoc processing terminates with general error: 'One or more errors have occurred. For more information, see the log'

Symptom

  • After implementing BAdI 'SD_SLS_CHECK_BEFORE_SAVE' a general error message stops the creation of the sales order during inbound IDoc processing (ORDERS), instead of displaying the expected error in the IDoc status record.
  • The termination of the IDoc processing is intentional, but the system does not record the proper error message in the log.
