Symptom
- After the 2H 2025 release upgrade, WalkMe is automatically enabled, and the WalkMe icon appears in the upper-right corner of the Admin Center page, even though the WalkMe integration was never manually enabled.
- In the WalkMe Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) tool, the Enable WalkMe option remains disabled.

Resolution
SAP has introduced two new help frameworks for administrators: Learn More links and WalkMe content for administrators.
WalkMe content for administrators is enabled by default for all customers. As a result, administrator-specific WalkMe messages may appear even if WalkMe has never been enabled for employees. SAP uses this feature to quickly provide important updates, explain new functionality, or clarify settings that may cause confusion.
This feature can be disabled at any time by navigating to:
- Company System and Logo Settings (requires the Manage System Properties → Company System and Logo Settings permission)
- Disable the option Display WalkMe Content for Administrators
*Note: WalkMe for administrators is not the same as the WalkMe content shown to employees. Employee-facing WalkMe is controlled separately, and employees do not see administrator WalkMe messages.
