Symptom
- When executing the application “Run Automatic Adjustments – Rates/Prices” in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, applying a filter in the "Fixing Date" field to perform adjustments only for a particular reference interest rate has no effect.
- The system proceeds to execute adjustments for all available reference interest rates instead of only the filtered one.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Access the SAP Public Cloud app "Run Automatic Adjustments – Rates/Prices".
- Specify the Fixing Date.
- Apply a filter to perform adjustments for a specific reference interest rate.
- Observe that the adjustment is executed for all available reference interest rates instead of the specified reference interest rate.
Cause
This is standard system behavior. The filtering functionality in the "Fixing date" field, the system processes all required adjustments from the last successful adjustment date up to and including the specified fixing date, which may lead to multiple dates appearing in result logs.
Resolution
- Understand that the technical text for the "Fixing date" field is "This is the date up to which the interest rate is adjusted automatically, or the date from which the automatic interest rate adjustment is reversed, or from which the planned records are updated."
- Note that the system displays multiple dates because the fixing date parameter works as a "through date," meaning the system processes all required adjustments from the last successful adjustment date up to and including the specified fixing date.
