3683283 - How to view approver comment in SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Symptom

After users submit an approval request, approvers can approve/deny the request and add a comment. This articles explains how to view the comment.

Cause

Resolution

  • Currently users cannot view the comment from UI.
  • Admins can go to the user record (who submitted the request) >  "Approvals" tab and click the Approval process ID to view the comment.
  • To make sure users are aware of the comment, add comment token in the notification templates which are triggered when request is approved/denied. Template IDs are as follows: 
    • ApprovalProcessRequestApproved
    • ApprovalProcessRequestDenied 
  • Remember to add the token in each user locale so no user is missing out.
