3683302 - Unable to Cancel Purchase Order Line Items due to Error Message

Unable to cancel purchase order line items due to error message "Action Cancel Purchase Order failed". 

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center
2. Select the Purchase Orders view
3. Open the relevant purchase order for editing
4. Go to the Items tab
5. Select the specific line item
6. Click on "Cancel"
7. Observe the error message: "Action Cancel Purchase Order failed"

The project task associated with the purchase order line item has a status of "Stopped". The system requires the project task status to be either "Started" or "Released" to allow cancellation of the purchase order line item.

1. Verify the status of the project task associated with the purchase order line item.
2. Update the project task status to either "Started" or "Released".
3. Attempt to cancel the purchase order line item again.
4. Once the cancellation is successful, the project task can be closed again if necessary.
