Symptom

  • Error message: "Application could not be started due to technical issues. Group '/IWBEP/ALL' not registered."
  • Checking http trace, the OData metadata /sap/opu/odata4/iwbep/all/srvd/sap/<service ID>/0001/$metadata failed with error: "Group '/IWBEP/ALL' not registered"
  • The issue happens when the client role is set as Test in SCC4, not happen when it's Development or Customizing
