Symptom

  • Connector configured with password grant OAuth2 authentication does not automatically refresh the token when it expires.
  • Scheduled event fails once the token expires.
  • Token refreshes manually when application settings are edited and saved, but fails again after expiration.
  • System should automatically obtain a new token upon expiration.
  • Error observed: status code 500 with response payload indicating 401 unauthorized error.
