3683616 - Release or reject documented credit decisions is not possible in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Unable to release or reject the Documented credit decisions.
• Error message: "Release not possible for this sales document".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Access the "Manage Documented Credit Decisions" app.
2. Attempt to release or reject a documented credit decision.
3. Observe the error message: "Release not possible for this sales document."

• Creation/update of the Document Credit Decision happens asynchronously via workflow events.
• Due to the asynchronous process of creation/update via workflow events, temporary issues such as locked objects or structural issues, e.g., missing currency conversion, may arise in the background during the creation/update of DCDs.
• The documented credit decision (DCD) has become orphaned.

1. Schedule the "Reprocess Workflow Events" job regularly to reprocess workflow events for documented credit decisions.
2. Identify the DCD that has become orphaned (e.g. approval status = Released, sales order credit status = Not blocked, delivery status = Fully delivered, DCDs planned closed date is in the past.)
3. Raise a SAP ticket to manually void such DCDs.
4. For long-term resolution, an all new "Documented Credit Decisions" app planned for release with CE2602, which offers enhanced monitoring and reprocessing of issues in the asynchronous communication.
