3683621 - "Period information is not available to perform the calculations" error when attempting to Post in SAP Agent Performance Management

Symptom

  • When attempting to run a File Sweep or manually post a file, the process fails throwing an error message: "An exception occurred during the most recent Posting. Please see the Post History screen for more details."
  • Full error message after observing processing logs: "Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: PeriodsCache.addPeriods: Period information is not available to perform the calculations. basePeriodYYYYMM=202512; numberOfPeriodsToAdd=1."
  • The values for basePeriodYYYYMM and numberOfPeriodsToAdd can be different for each environment.
