Symptom
Purpose
The PFW was designed from the beginning as a parallelization with resource control. This means, in particular, that the number of parallel processes should be limited so that it does not lead to system overload. While the ABAP Dispatcher is used for resource control of the ABAP application servers, the HANA DB resources are continuously monitored by the PFW via its monitoring views. These queries are routed to a separate process by the PFW to ensure the PFW's responsiveness, even with potentially longer query runtimes.
