3683771 - Advanced filters in manage documents page not displaying the correct combination of document categories and entities type

Symptom

  • Documents uploaded in the 'Default' category are not displayed under the 'Manage Documents' page when using advanced filters.
  • When trying to apply advanced filter in Manage Documents page, the options displayed are not matching the criteria defined in the filter.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to 'Admin Center' > navigate to 'Manage Documents' > 'Documents'
  2. Click on the 'Filter' button and open the 'Advanced Filters'
  3. Run the first search - for example:
    1. Filter by 'Entity Type: Person' and 'Document Category: Default'
    2. Click on 'Apply Filters' and observe that the criteria is respected for the results showed
  4. Run a second search - for example:
    1. Change the 'Entity Type' for 'User' and keep the selection for 'Document Category'
    2. Apply the filter again
    3. Note that the criteria selected previously for 'Document Category' is not respected, only the 'Entity Type'.

Resolution

Our engineering team is working to fix this issue on 1H2026 release.

Meanwhile, as a workaround, users need to remove the data selected under 'Document Category' field (or any other), and select them again for the filter to work properly.
