Symptom

Balance carry forward (BCF) does not carry group currency (GC) data from 2027 to 2028.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

The "Post in group currency" setting for document type A0 is not enabled. As a result, the automatic document, such as the BCF document, does not carry group currency values.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to the configuration settings for document type A0.
  2. Enable the "Post in group currency" setting for document type A0.
  3. Save the changes.
  4. Run the Balance Carry Forward (BCF) task again in the Data Monitor.
  5. Verify that the group currency values are now carried forward correctly.
