3683946 - How to delete some stuck condition records - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Due to different causes below, 

• There's something wrong on the configuration of the approval workflows for prices in sales, some condition records are stuck as "In review" and cannot be approved, the approval process is incomplete.
• There's something wrong on the condition steps so that the approval is complete, but the condition records are still stuck as "In review".
• For a condition record, the value of some key fields are deleted in system and the approval workflow process is enable. The master data checking will prevent the deletion of the condition record.

In this stage, these condition records cannot be used in pricing, cannot be edited or deleted and it's also not possible to create a new price with a validity period that would overlap the validity period of the in-review price. 

This article describes how to delete the condition records whose release status is "In Review".

For different scenarios, the workarounds below can be considered accordingly:

• If the approval process is incomplete, it can be considered to cancel the workflow in the app "Workflow Administration" and then the release status of the condition records will change into "Blocked". After that, theses condition records can be deleted.
• If the approval process has already been completed, it can be considered to deactivate the workflow definition first in 'Manage Sales Price Workflows' app, then delete the target condition records in 'Set Material Prices-Sales".
• If the deletion of a condition record is prevented due to the master data check, as a workaround, it can be considered to deactivate the workflow and then the system will be allowed to perform the deletion action directly.
