3684457 - Language key and Description text in alternative chart of accounts in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, in alternative chart of accounts (other than YCOA), you see that language key and description text is missing in the language of that COA's country/region, although you have activated the corresponding language/country content in CBC configuration.

This is current system design.

According to product team, if you scope a new language without the initial scoping of the G/L account itself, the new texts are ignored intentionally.
If G/L accounts have been activated and another language is added at a later point in time, no one can guarantee that in the meantime the G/L account texts in the already existing languages have not been (significantly) changed in the system.
That means it could easily be the case that the G/L accounts delivered by SAP have a significantly different semantics. In such a case, it would be a risk to activate texts for the G/L accounts with the original SAP semantics without prior review by the customer.

In this situation, you need to create and maintain the lanugage key and description text manually in the system for the G/L accounts that are already activated in your system.
