3684492 - Settings to prevent changes in purchase order, when it delivered or invoiced

The price or quantity of purchase order line items can be edited even after they have been delivered or invoiced.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
2. Open the Purchase Orders view and select all purchase orders.
3. Search for the relevant purchase order ID and click on "Edit".
4. Navigate to the "Items" tab.
5. Observe that the price or quantity of line items can still be edited for line items.

• This is the system's expected behavior. The system allows modifications to line items that are open, meaning they are yet to be completely delivered or invoiced. Once the delivered and invoiced quantities match the ordered quantity, the system automatically updates the purchase order line item status to "Finished", preventing further modifications.
• This applicable to Purchase order header level also until the purchase order header level status changed to "Finished", meaning the send update button will be enable, it allows to change the line items or any data in purchase order.

To define settings to prevent modifications in purchase order line items, in header level in purchase order document or in fine-tune activities is a new requirement, that should be posted as a feature request in the SAP Business ByDesign Customer Influence Forum.
