3684569 - Communication error when navigating to journal entry from app Clear G/L Accounts - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2508

Symptom

In the app "Clear G/L Accounts", under the 'Open Items' tab, when clicking on a journal entry number and navigating to 'Display Journal Entries - New Version'  or 'Manage Journal Entries',  a 'Communication error' message is displayed.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the "Clear G/L Accounts" app.
  2. Select a G/L account and click the arrow to enter the clearing screen..
  3. Click on a journal entry number under the 'Open Items' tab.
  4. Attempt to navigate to 'Display Journal Entries - New Version.'
  5. Observe the 'Communication error' message displayed.

Resolution

  1. The development team has planned a correction for the issue, which will be delivered in the future release.
  2. As a temporary workaround, the error message can be closed directly, and the application can still be used normally.
