3684691 - 'There is nothing to show yet' message on Position and Organization card without permission - 2H2025

Symptom

When the login user has no entity permission on Job Information, and views someone's profile in the latest people profile, the Job Info summary card is hidden but the Position & Org Info card displays containing the message "There is nothing to show yet".

A summary card should be hidden if the user has no permission to view its content.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into instance.
  2. Confirm access user does not have Job Information permissions to target user.
  3. Confirm access user does not have Employee Central HRIS OData API (read only) permission
  4. Observe 'There is nothing to show yet' on 'Position and Organization' card in Job Data Category.

Cause

A code correction exists with investigation ongoing.

Resolution

Product Engineering have identified this issue and a code correction has been created under ECT-264465.

A patch will be implemented once a fix has been identified.
