Symptom
As of the 2H 2025 release, for Insurance benefits, the ‘Rounded Coverage’ value is populating (on the workflow, if applicable, and the enrollment record thereafter) even when the ‘Factor’ of the related Rate Chart is configured as ‘-1’. Prior to the 2H 2025 release, the 'Rounded Coverage' value would be blank / empty in the workflow and enrollment in this same scenario.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
- Log into environment
- Go to an employee's profile, and enroll them in an Insurance benefit (where the Rate Chart's 'Factor' is set as '-1')
- Submit the enrollment
- Go to the pending workflow, if applicable, or the completed enrollment record
- See the ‘Rounded Coverage’ took the value set in the ‘Insurance Coverage’ details, even though the ‘Rate Chart’ has its ‘Factor’ as ‘-1’
Cause
This is expected behaviour - as of the 2H 2025 release, if the 'Coverage' is of 'Amount', 'Percentage' or 'Factor' type, then the 'Rounded Coverage' field will populate with the relevant value for visibility purposes.
Resolution
This is expected behaviour as of the 2H 2025 release.
If you do not wish to see the 'Rounded Coverage' value on the enrollment, you can hide the 'Rounded Coverage' field from the Configuration UI Screen, or change the 'Coverage' type to 'Other' so the amount is not applicable.
