3684952 - Procedure Failures After Upgrade Due to Delta Log Migration Error

Symptom

After upgrading SAP HANA (e.g., from 2.00.054 to 2.00.079.04), stored procedures fail with the following error:

[129]: transaction rolled back by an internal error
column store error: delta log replay failed [2999] 
replayLog: delta cannot be loaded: migration is required and there is an ongoing ddl on table

Indexserver trace shows:

LogicalMigration::migrateAndVerify delta cannot be loaded: 
migration is required and there is an ongoing ddl on table

A delta merge operation does not resolve the issue.
