3685090 - ISG Button in Calibration Session

Symptom

  • What is open ISG button in Calibration?
  • When user clicks on it we an error message appears as: "There was an error retrieving data. Please contact Technical Support".

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Calibration from drop down of the home screen
  2. Click on any Calibration Session of the list
  3. System displays buttons like Open ISG on top right
  4. Clicking on the button will throw error

Resolution

"Open ISG" button is only for “External Summary” feature which is actually has something to do with integration with a 3rd party software.

The "Open ISG button" is based on a back-end Provisioning setting. This setting should not be enabled in the back-end as it was built for a specific customer.

Disable the setting "Enable External Summary Link - Currently Siemens Only Feature" in Provisioning > Company Settings will remove the button from front end.
