3685165 - Web Service Call Redirecting to Wrong System

You've configured communication arrangement with communication system host name. The communication arrangement's URL is directed towards the CPI system but triggers a different system.

You have edited the communication system host name. The actual trigger occurs in the old system URL but not the new system URL.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Trigger the web service call;
2. Check in Web Service Message Monitoring and verify the call; 
3. Check in target system if it is triggering;
4. You found the web service call triggered to the wrong system.

Editing the host name of an existing communication system is not recommended.

Instead we recommend creating a new communication system and adding the relevant communication arrangements to it.

Recreate the communication system and recreate the communication arrangement to refresh settings and apply the correct endpoint.
