3685187 - Purchase requisitions are not closed while closing projects and demands

In the system you find that the closure of a project or individual WBS has successfully closed the demands, WBS, and project entities but the purchase requisition (PR) is not closed.
When attempting to close a project it is expected to close the demand already as it is a mandatory step.

Observed application behaviour for closing demands and purchase requisitions (PR) from either the Manage Project Demand app or the Project Control app:

• Closing a single demand with its PR: Both the demand and PR are closed successfully.
• Closing multiple demands (with individual or shared PRs): Demands are closed, but the associated PR(s) remain open.

As part of our solution strategy and considering the concern raised, we recommend closing all outstanding demands in the Manage Project Demand application before initiating project & WBS Element closure.

We have completed a correction/addition to your software which has been delivered with S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition release 2508.1. This will help to ensure a seamless and efficient closing process.

If you find open PR/ PO associated with the demand, please raise an incident with SAP under the component PPM-SCL-DMN, and we would help you with resetting the status of the demand. We request you to close the demand later which would then close the PR/PO automatically.

Note: Ensure that the WBS Element is in released status.
