3685205 - ASE Cockpit fails to start with error "GC overhead limit exceeded" - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • ASE Cockpit was working fine. There is not any change on it, but one day it fails to start.
  • Checking ASE Cockpit log, can see below error messages:

[INFO ] [messaging.MessagingService                   ] [main] - Checking for which provider to use.
[ERROR] [rmi.RMIService                               ] [RMIServiceHousekeeper] - Unexpected error during RMI housekeeping: GC overhead limit exceeded (max heap: 1024 MB)
