Symptom

When running the app Returned Bill of Exchange Payable, the error message displayed is: "House bank ID and acct ID are missing in mast.record for acct XXXX" (Message.no. FW024). 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the app Returned Bill of Exchange Payable.
  2. Fill in the required field information.
  3. Click Select.
  4. The error message appears: "House bank ID and acct ID are missing in mast.record for acct XXXX" (Message.no. FW024).

Cause

The master record for the specified account lacks the necessary House Bank ID and Account ID details.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, ensure that the House Bank ID and Account ID are properly entered in the master record for account XXXX in the app Manage G/L Account Master Data.
