3685375 - HANA Backup Failure due to Error in External Backint Provider (AWS Backint Agent)

Symptom

During a data backup using Backint, the following errors occur:

  • “Not all data could be written: Expected 4096 but transferred 0”
  • “Backint exited with signal 15”
  • “Error while backing up backup catalog”

Backint logs show the AWS Backint Agent running, but failing during the external backup write process.

Configuration output from the external Backint provider contains:
InstanceAwsRegion = <nil> 

Backup previously worked but started failing from a later execution.
