3685393 - Hidden field causing Custom Validation error on Variable Pay Worksheet

Customers are experiencing an issue related to the 2H 2025 release item (VRP-14993) in SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, where expected custom validation messages are not displayed. When saving the transaction, no error message appears. Additionally, when sending the form to the next step, the system displays an incomplete or partial error message.

When the field are hidden:

1. Navigate to Compensation > Forms.
2. Open the relevant VRP form.
3. Update a value in a field controlled by a custom validation
4. Save the transaction.
5. No error message appears, and the transaction is saved successfully.
6. Click “Send to Next Step.” An incomplete error message is displayed.

When the fields are not hidden:

1. Update a value in a field controlled by a custom validation.

2. Save the transaction. The error message appears correctly.

The custom validation does not trigger an error due to a limitation in the current configuration when field permissions are revoked.
