Symptom
- Upon migrating documents from Onboarding 1.0 to Onboarding, it is not possible to determine the ownership of the documents.
- When filtering by the user responsible for the document, no results appear.
- The "Uploaded By" field displays the admin user instead of the actual document owner.
- Users must open documents individually to identify the owner.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to "Manage Documents".
- Check the "Uploaded By" field; it displays the admin user instead of the actual owner.
- Open a document to verify that another user is the owner or has signed it.
Cause
This issue is caused by a known defect in the document migration process from Onboarding 1.0 to Onboarding, where documents are incorrectly saved under the admin user's name instead of the actual owner.
Resolution
- A fix was deployed to the preview environment on 25-Nov-2025.
- Patch release details can be found in the SAP SuccessFactors Patches Knowledge Base.
