3685500 - Custom theme not loading on SAP Fiori Launchpad ABAP on Workzone

Symptom

  • Custom theme created in UI Theme Designer is not loading correctly on SAP BTP Fiori Launchpad.
  • The theme colors vanish, and pages appear completely white.
  • Error message encountered: "Error (400, Bad Request) in OData response for PUT '/sap/opu/odata/UI2/INTEROP/UserProfileProperties(id='THEME', shellType='FLP')': HTTP request failed. Details: Value for UserProfileProperty not supplied."
  • The issue started after the update to SAPUI5 version 1.139.0.
