3685616 - Error in Data Workbench While Inserting Contract Item "Creating Data Not Possible; Creation Disabled"

Symptom

While inserting data for Contract Item in Data Workbench template there is an error: "Creating Data Not Possible; Creation Disabled".  

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Data workbench.
  2. Select Import.
  3. Select Individual Object.
  4. Click on Insert operation.
  5. Select Contract Item and upload the required file.

Resolution

Check to confirm if, in the Excel file, at tab Contract_Item the following columns are filled:

  • Quantity
  • UoM

Please note that dependent on the Contract type, either Quantity and UoM can be used or Target Quantity and Target Quantity UoM, hence, if these are not a match then it would lead to the scenario of creation not possible.
