Symptom
Unexpected commands are triggering Quick Actions in MS Teams SAP SuccessFactors integration.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
- Log in to the impacted non-production environment.
- Execute the 'Hay' or 'Ho' command in the MS Teams SAP SuccessFactors integration, instead of 'Hey' or 'Hi'.
- Quick Actions will be triggered even though those commands were not configured.
Cause
When the feature ' AI Services Administration' is enabled, it improves the understanding of the commands on SuccessFactors at MS Teams. This means that the app will not be triggered only by literal commands -- but it will improve the understanding and accept more natural, conversational inputs, enhancing the overall flexibility and user experience of the app.
Resolution
To verify if the feature is enabled, follow the below steps:
- Go to Admin Center > AI Services Administration.
- Review if 'Enable Assisted Microsoft Teams App Chat' is flagged.
Prerequisites and more information can be found on SAP Help Portal | Enabling AI-Assisted Microsoft Teams App Chat.
