3686307 - Visit Facet Is Missing In Sales Order

Symptom

  • In the Sales Order, the Visit facet is not visible.
  • Creating a visit upon saving a sales order is not supported by standard functionality. 

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sales work center.
  2. Go to Sales Order work center view.
  3. Open any Sales Order.
  4. Observe that the Visit facet is not visible.

Cause

• Visits are categorized as planning and execution activities, separate from transactional document workflows.

• Automatic creation of visits during Sales Order saving is not supported by standard functionality. 

Resolution

Creating a visit while saving a sales order is not supported by standard functionality.
