Symptom
- Table thresholds in the optimized design experience are visible in edit and view modes but disappear when switched to present mode.
- The issue occurs in stories based on live models.
- The issue happens with the table of the old table build experience.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud
Reproducing the Issue
- Log in to the SAP Analytics Cloud tenant.
- Open the story in present mode. Observe that the table thresholds are not displayed.
- Open the same story in view/edit mode. Observe that the table thresholds are displayed.
Cause
The issue is caused by corrupted linked variables in specific models.
Resolution
- Open the story in the edit mode.
- Choose 'Edit Prompts' from the 'Tools' options.
- Select the models and set the linked variables again.
- Save the story.
Alternatively, this issue is fixed in the new table build experience.
- save the story as a new story
- open the new story in the edit mode
- select a table
- open the table builder
- scroll down to the bottom
- click 'Switch All Tables to New Build Experience'.
