3686443 - 2H2025 People Profile Data Display User Setting Causes Error for Onboardee

Symptom

  • The People Profile Data Display user setting is generating errors for onboardees. Although customer has opted out of the Latest People Profile, this setting continues to remain visible.
  • Even after configuring the Latest People Profile to display external codes for all users, the setting persists.
  • Since this option is only relevant when the Latest People Profile is enabled, it should not appear once opted out, nor should it trigger errors for onboardees.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the instance as onboardee
  2. Select Settings from the user dropdown
  3. Select People Profile Data Display

4. See the page with text "Looks like something went wrong" and error code: 404 Not Found

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release.
