3686530 - Fiscal year field not editable/greyed out when creating a Target Plan

Symptom

  • Fiscal year field is mandatory but cannot be modified when creating a target plan.
  • Fiscal period appears empty when clicking on the "+" icon in the target plan creation screen

Environment

SAP Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Navigation Menu.
  2. Navigate to the Target Plan.
  3. Click on the "+" icon to create a new target plan.
  4. Observe that the fiscal period field is empty and cannot be modified.

Cause

Fiscal years are not maintained in the fiscal period settings under Language, Region and Currency settings.

Resolution

  1. Click on User Menu.
  2. Navigate to User Settings.
  3. Select "All Settings".
  4. Under System Preferences, Open Language, Region, and Currency.
  5. Go to Fiscal Period facet.
  6. Maintain the Fiscal Year data.
