Symptom
You are unable to change the Account for an existing task or for a Task where no Account exists
Environment
SAP Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Version 2
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Navigation Menu.
- Go to Activity Manager.
- Go to Task.
- Create a task without an account.
- Open the created task.
- Attempt to edit the Account field.
- Observe that the Account field is not editable.
Resolution
Utilize the account(key) field (label - Account), which might be hidden in adaptation. Ensure the account key field is added in adaptation settings to enable editing.
- Open a task.
- Go to User Menu.
- Select Start Adaptation.
- Go to General Section in Task and click on the pencil icon.
- Select the Show Hidden Items checkbox.
- Add the Account(key) field.
