3686878 - How to change a number range from internal to external.

Symptom

The customer wants to change an internal number range to external.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

Resolution

  1. Open SSCUI 102296 – Define Number Ranges.

  2. Check the current NR status for number range xx. Temporarily set it to 0.

  3. Temporarily mark number range xx as external.

  4. After use, you can remove the external flag and restore the NR status to its original value.
